The unknown subject...

You ever want to post about something but not really know how to actually write that post?

There's something that I would like to post, something that I would like to share. I've written and re-written about the topic a lot - 5 or 6 times. While I'm writing about it, it seems so very important and real and right.

Then I get to the end of the post and go back and read it, really take a good look at it, and it's just one giant whine. Some self-indulgent crap that does a disservice to everyone reading it. So I don't post it. I mean I babble enough here without imposing my insecurities on everyone.

So I go on with life.

Until the next time I try to write it.

Weird, huh? I just can't seem to let it go, but there's no way I can actually write about it without sounding needy and infantile.

I just can't seem to separate my feelings from the topic enough to make it read like something other than a giant cry for attention.

I'm sure a good writer could actually do it.

Just my own $.02, but this is your journal, your space, and there is absolutely nothing at all wrong about posting anything you wish to post about. Whether it be a rant or a whine or a cry for help or a senseless ramble. Your Space. Your Thoughts. Your Words. Your Journal.

Ok, so maybe if you don't want the entire world to see it you lock it down some.

You've rarely if ever written anything I didn't find insightful and interesting. Even when you've apologized or complained about it.

Personally, I like reading what you post. I find you an extremely fun, interesting, insightful person.
