Love Child: Landcomm Crack!

For tvrealm we had a challenge that was mostly crack! (aka not in any canon and did not actually follow any rules of any universe). We had to take two characters from any shows, pair them up and tell who their Love Child would be. This is a horrible challenge for me, who loves canon above all else. But I thought I'd give it a try because I want all the badges, damnit.

“It’s your damn fault, you know,” Ellen groused at Aaron as they made their way through the crowd of people. “You had to tell him about all the things that you wanted to be when you were a kid. You had to tell him he could do whatever he wanted. And now look where we are.”

“You didn’t want him to be a hunter any more than I did. You said he should go to college, too.” Aaron kept his voice quiet and calm. They finally reached the two empty seats in the at a table in the middle of the room.

“Yes,” Ellen snapped. “Go to college. Graduate. Become a doctor or lawyer or, hell, anything.”

Aaron tried not to smile. “Well, I think this qualifies as anything.”

“Don’t get smart with me, Aaron Hotchner.” Ellen glared at him. “You can’t tell me this is what you wanted?” She was winding herself up for a full on rant.

Aaron sighed. “All I wanted was him out of the life and safe. Not to have to deal with, with everything we have to deal with. That’s what I thought you wanted, too.”

That deflated Ellen. She chewed her lip, and refused to meet his eyes, staring intently at the stage.

Aaron didn’t manage to stop his laugh this time.

She spun to face him. “Oh, keep it up, hot stuff. You’re going to be sleeping on the sofa for years.” She waved a warning finger in his face. “You better explain what you think is so funny, and it better be good.”

Aaron grinned. “This whole ‘I don’t approve of what my son is doing’ – it’s the most stereotypical normal thing I’ve ever know you to do. Ever since I met you, ever since I walked into this insanity of hunting, you’ve never, ever been the least bit normal.” He met her eyes. “It’s kind of sexy.”

A smile slowly grew on Ellen’s face. “You’re hopeless. That hasn’t changed since we first met.” She settled back in her seat. “We’ll continue this discussion back at the hotel,” she promised. “Here we go.”

The lights dimmed and a man walked to the center of the stage.

“Welcome to The Laugh Factory! Tonight we have some of the nations best comedians here to keep you laughing. Our first act tonight is a up-and-coming youngster who has been making a name for himself across the country. Please welcome: Don Hotchner!”

Hahaha, I know, right?! I had the hardest time writing this cracky non-canon stuff. :D I must have all the badges, too!

I don't watch any of the shows you used, but for what it's worth: you did good. :)

I really suck at non-canon. I love my characters so much and any little change changes them, so...

Yeah. It's an issue.
